[Matthew 22:36-40] “36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Place your highest value on LOVE - first to GOD and then to OTHERS. Ü
Let Jesus be your perfect example for loving others. If you feel fear or giving up on loving others, take it as a great opportunity to love even when people are unlovable. And guess what? you don’t have to do it alone. Ask God to fill you with His love & strength, He is more than willing to love in & through you. Ü
[1 John 4:18] “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear…”
The Bible talks a lot about love. In 1 Corinthians 13:13, Paul says that love is the greatest. In 1 Corinthians 13:8, he says love never fails. In John 13:35, Jesus says that people will know we are His if we love one another. And 1 John 4:7-8 says that we should love one another because love comes from God. It also says that whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
So are you loving people? Are you loving the world?
